Update: April 5 is Deadline for Wage Freeze Incentive
In a letter sent to the NJSBA and NJEA on Wednesday, Gov. Chris Christie urged school districts and local education associations to agree to a one-year salary freeze for employees by April 5, the deadline for submission of school budgets to county clerks. |

Gov Offers Incentive for School Salary Freezes
Gov. Chris Christie said he plans to offer more state aid to school districts whose teachers agree to a wage freeze for the 2011 fiscal year, according to AP news reports on March 30. |
