NJSBA Creates Annual Ethics Training Form

NJSBA has created a form to help New Jersey school boards document that they have met the annual requirement for ethics training.

The form, which has been posted online, is a simple way to memorialize that the training was provided. Typically, boards will also record in their minutes that the training has been received.

The form is a tool to help school boards, but it does not replace the individual ethics training required for all school board members and trustees.

The document is located online. Additional details on school ethics – including a slideshow presentation and instructions for board-level ethics training – can be found on the legal section of NJSBA’s website.
