NJSBA is seeking to fill the position of Systems Administrator in the Association’ Information Technology Department.
This position will design and plan Association LAN/WAN and equipment needs, implement solutions, maintain systems and provide support. Responsibilities include assisting with all network applications, including Association management databases, employee expense, payroll, ISYS search and the Winnebago Spectrum database. The successful applicant will plan, configure and troubleshoot networked devices; maintain readiness of disaster-recovery site; and monitor overall network performance.
Candidate must possess ability to administer a 110+ node network, including firewalls. Candidates must be a self-starter with the ability to work with a variety of groups and individuals; possess attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work assignments; possess excellent verbal/written communication skills; and be available to work evenings and weekends as required. BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the computer science field is required. A minimum three years’ experience in development, implementation and maintenance of LAN or WAN is also required. Experience in managing Windows, Linux and Macintosh operating systems; SAN management, such as NetApp and Equal Logic; and experience with 2X or Citrix, Altiris is preferred.
The minimum salary is $56,798. NJSBA offers a full benefits package.
