Congressman Rob Andrews and staff of the First Congressional District in New Jersey will speak at a joint meeting of the Camden/Gloucester County School Boards Associations at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10. The meeting, which will be held at the Camden County College Blackwood Campus, will consist of a federal overview of education issues and discussion with the congressman and his staff.
School officials who are interested in attending can register online.
County association meetings are open to all school board members, even those from outside of the county. To learn about programs being presented at county meetings throughout the state, go to the County School Boards Association web page and select the individual counties at the top of the page.
Board members who are interested in attending any of the county meetings should contact the appropriate NJSBA County Activities Coordinator: Christy Tighe for counties north of Monmouth and Mercer, and Marcia Lavigne for Monmouth and Mercer counties and those to the south.
