Dear Governor McGreevey:
New Jersey school boards recognize the daunting challenge you face crafting a new state budget. We are also aware of the importance you place on the education of New Jerseys more than 1.3 million school children. As partners in preparing our students to be competitive in the 21st century, we strongly urge you to fully fund state aid to education in your 2003-04 budget. Read the whole letter.

| Campaign for Full Funding |
| NJSBA has launched a campaign to achieve full funding of state aid in the 2004 budget. To demonstrate to the governor and Legislature what impact flat funding or a reduction in state aid would mean to students and taxpayers, NJSBA wants to hear from districts in detail how the funding freeze hurt them last year. You can e-mail your stories to Robert DeSando or fax them to 609-394-0753. Help us to help you! |
