Date Change for NJSBA Resolutions Subcommittee Meeting

NJSBA Board of Directors Highlights
A regular meeting of NJSBA’s Board of Directors took place on January 16 in East Windsor. Action taken at the meeting included the following:
Approved the minutes of the November 21, 2003 Board of Directors meeting.
Approved appointments to the 2004 Legislative Committee and the 2004 Resolution Subcommittee.
Adopted the 2004 Legislative Agenda and Advocacy Action Plan.
Acknowledged School Board Member Recognition Month.
Heard a legislative update.

For the twelfth year, the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education is sponsoring a summer seminar that will be conducted through a tour of Holocaust sites in Europe. The seminar tour will take place from July 14–26, 2004, with attendees visiting locations in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Maud Dahme, commission member, state board of education member, and Holocaust survivor, will lead the tour.
