budget crunch

Bargaining in Difficult
Economic Times

School districts expect to see no increase in state funding for the next fiscal year. The Housing form will appear in the next issue of School Board Notes. Registering will be easier this year.

In an effort to minimize the confusion over district purchase orders and vouchers, Workshop staff worked with the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority (ACCVA), along with participating Atlantic City hotels, to streamline the pre-payment process. Get the full story.
Budget Changes Distribution Of Workshop Revenues

NJSBA’s 2002-03 budget, adopted March 15, reflects a change in the previous arrangement under which the Association shared revenues from Workshop exhibit sales with the two co-sponsoring organizations—the New Jersey Association of School Administrators and the New Jersey Association of School Business Officials. The new arrangement more accurately reflects each organization’s investment of resources in Annual Workshop. Get the full story.
