NJSBA Participates in NCLB Discussion |
|
At the request of Assemblyman John F. McKeon, the New Jersey School Boards Association and other representatives from the education community were invited to participate in a panel discussion last week in South Orange on the requirements and challenges under the No Child Left Behind Act. Members of the general public as well as board members and parents from the community had an opportunity to voice their concerns about the mandates under the federal law.
In addition to participating in the panel discussion, Sean W. Hadley, Esq., NJSBAs assistant director/lobbyist, gave an overview and history of the No Child Left Behind law.
