School Leader Award

NJSBA mourns the loss of board member Robert Drummond, who died on September 27. Drummond was the second longest-serving school board member in New Jersey, having served on the Jefferson Township school board since 1961.
Drummond was very active in district matters. He played a major part in the recent passage of a $40.1 million referendum that voters approved in March.
NJSBA extends its sympathy to Drummond’s family and to the citizens of the Jefferson Township School District who lost a dedicated public servant.
