| County Association Leaders Hold Fall Meeting |

Presidents and vice presidents from the county school boards associations met last month in Monroe Township for their first meeting of the year. They received updates on advocacy efforts by NJSBA and heard a presentation from Dr. Tim Brennan, founder of The DREAMER Institute for Life in Balance. Dr. Brennan discussed balancing priorities and harnessing the power of the unconscious mind.

| Earn Board Member Academy Credits at Workshop 2003 This year at Workshop, board members will be able to earn NJSBA Board Member Academy credits for attending Action Labs and Group Sessions. Members can also receive Academy credits for attending the Labor Relations Mini-Workshop on Wednesday morning; the Critical Issue and State Legislative Update sessions on Wednesday afternoon; the School Law Forum during the day on Thursday; and the State Board of Education Program on Thursday afternoon. | NJSBA Delegate Handbook Mailing |
The delegate handbook, consisting of agenda items for the Delegate Assembly meeting on November 22, will be mailed first class on October 30 to the homes of delegates who are registered by October 29 to represent their district at the meeting. If your district does not register a delegate by October 29, the handbook will be mailed to the school business administrator to distribute to the districts representative.
