Enhancing Board Effectiveness: Strategies for Educational Leaders-Kick off the year on the right foot by participating in a discussion to explore strategies that boards of education and individual board members can implement to enhance their effectiveness in guiding the educational decisions for their districts. This meeting will clarify the difference between board goals and district goals, discuss best practices for governance, and advance individual board members' professional development to support students, administrators, and the communities they serve.
