The Board of Education of the Pleasantville School District is seeking a superintendent to provide innovative leadership and administrative management for their PreK-12, urban district.  Currently serving 3700 students with 565 full time staff in seven schools with a 94 million dollar budget, the board is seeking an accomplished leader with proven success in student achievement.

Qualifications:

  • NJ School Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility required
  • Superintendent, Asst. Superintendent, Central Administration/Supervisory and/or Principal experience required
  • Classroom teaching experience preferred

The successful candidate will have achievement and expertise in:

  • Curriculum and instruction
  • Finance management and resource allocation
  • Personnel management
  • Communications and outreach
  • Experience working with a diverse community

Salary commensurate with education and qualifications; subject to NJ State regulations.
