Description: Our students are over-stressed, exhausted, facing academic and social pressures, and fixated on social media and outside influences. Districts grapple with the challenges of student mental health crisis. Social-emotional health and wellness has been shown to have a positive effect on students and staff. It has gained prominence as a way to help schools better prepare students for future success. Vincent DeLucia, NJSBA Educator in Residence, will discuss proactive practices and structures that local school districts can implement to help students and staff thrive.
