A statewide child advocacy organization has initiated a public education campaign focusing the importance of a complete and accurate count of New Jersey’s population, particularly young children, in the 2020 U.S. Census.

Peter Chen, policy counsel for the organization, the Advocates for Children of New Jersey, addressed the issue during the annual NJSBA/NJPTA Legislative Day conference on May 16.

Information about the Census 2020 NJ initiative is available on the ACNJ website.
