Cybersecurity threats can be detrimental to student data and district operations.

The New Jersey School Boards Association, in cooperation with NJEdge, is hosting a training program to address the need for information on this topic. The program will take place at NJSBA headquarters on Thursday, May 9, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Registration and continental breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Building a Cyber-Secure Environment for N.J. Schools will provide a holistic view of the cybersecurity environment, including:

  • The cybersecurity threat landscape;
  • Proactively protecting schools; and
  • Emerging cybersecurity tools.

District leadership teams are encouraged to attend so that they may learn to conceptualize IT system improvements and operational practices.

Registration

Register online through Eventbrite. Pre-registration is required and seats are limited.

This no-cost program is sponsored by the Educational Leadership Foundation of New Jersey. Registration is open to all public school leaders and district staff interested in learning more about building a cybersecure environment for their schools.
