The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued updated guidance on school operations during the pandemic, with additional consideration for ventilation, food services, and students with special needs.
According to the CDC, the considerations are intended to help school administrators as they consider how to protect the health and well-being of students, staff, their families and communities. The guidance urges promoting behaviors that reduce the spread of the virus; maintaining healthy environments and operations and preparing for when someone gets sick.
