The events of the past several months have had a dramatic impact on education. Members of the local board of education are the faces of educational leadership in the community. How local board of education members assume that role and effectively lead is more critical now than ever.
On Tuesday, Aug. 18 from 7 – 8:30 p.m., the New Jersey School Boards Association will present a program, “Leading in Uncertain Times,” to help board members build leadership skills. The event will be hosted on Webex and offers 1 Board Member Academy credit.
Join the NJSBA Field Services staff for a discussion on the governance role, essential communication, and effective leadership to navigate through the uncertain times on the road ahead. This program is part of NJSBA’s ‘Road Back’ training and information series, and the Field Services Department’s series on leadership. Additional programs will be offered later this year.
Registration Information School board members, superintendents, and others included on the census may register themselves online for this training program. Registrants will receive an email with information on how to access the program via the confirmation notice. Attend online via computer, smartphone, or tablet with Internet access. Register Now
