On Dec. 7, Junior Achievement of New Jersey is holding a one day coding event for middle school students, grades six through eight.

The free event will be held at DeVry University on U.S. Route 1 in North Brunswick from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The event is an immersive coding day to encourage students to pursue careers in technology through hands-on workshops and activities. It will include exercises in programming, cybersecurity, web development and more. No prior coding experience is necessary. Lunch will be served, and attendees can register online at HackJA.com/ctc.
