NJSpotlight.com is sponsoring a roundtable event on Tuesday, Feb. 26 called Achieving Lead-Free School Water in New Jersey.
The moderated roundtable will convene a diverse and experienced panel, including Senator Linda Greenstein and Valerie Wilson of Newark Public Schools, to discuss effective ways to deploy the $100 million allocated for school water infrastructure improvements as part of the Securing Our Children’s Future Bond Act.
The keynote address will be delivered by Robert Christlieb of Chicago Public Schools. Christlieb is the architect of their lead remediation program and will recount Chicago’s challenges and successes.
The event is open to the public.
