On Tuesday, Jan. 25, NJSBA Kicked off its Wind Down: Empowerment Series, a new monthly online event providing board members with important information and an outlet to discuss their challenges. The program is designed to empower them to thrive in their leadership roles.

“Our goal is to provide members with convenient roundtable-style meetings, where they can collaborate with one another, learn about valuable support services and have their inquiries addressed in real-time,” said NJSBA Executive Director Dr. Lawrence S. Feinsod.

Inspired by the well-attended Workshop 2021 “Wind Down” programs, these virtual evening sessions feature NJSBA staff, who host live breakout rooms discussing an array of subjects, give members an opportunity to ask questions and have meaningful conversations with their peers from throughout the state.

The first event was incredibly well-received. Comments included:

  • This has been wonderful! I can’t wait until the next one!”
  • “Great information! Thank you.”
  • “Thank you for a great conversation.”
  • “Thank you for an informative conversation. I appreciate the discussion. Have a great night!”
