The Coronavirus Response & Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act: What’s in It for Jersey K12s?  Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 11 a.m.  On Dec. 27, Congress passed CRRSA, providing another round of emergency COVID response funding.

Much like the support received under the CARES Act, school districts and charter schools can expect to see financial aid to help in response to the global pandemic. There are a few critical changes between CARES and this new round of coronavirus funding that are essential to know.

Join NJSBA to learn about what the funding means for New Jersey districts and charter schools. The webinar will also include information on how the funding will work and how NJSBA’s Grant Support Program can help districts navigate the anticipated application process.

CTE Teacher Certification: Finding Talent for Your Programs, Thursday, Feb. 25 at 11 a.m.  Many districts have expressed interest in both beginning and expanding Career and Technical Education (CTE) offerings to provide students with clear pathways to postsecondary success. One common challenge is the ability to find qualified teachers for their CTE programs.

Join the Office of Career Readiness to learn about recent amendments to the regulatory code and new grant opportunities to expand the CTE teacher talent pool.
