The New Jersey School Boards Association has entered into an exciting new partnership with Rutgers University Division of Continuing Studies (DoCS) to develop NJSBA’s Online University for Continuing Education.
The first three courses, online mandated training, are now available:
- Governance II, Finance
- Governance III, Student Achievement
- Governance IV, Legal Update
Governance I, New Board Member Orientation, will be available in late March.
The new online courses include course supplements and enhanced online content using the Canvas Learning Management System.
Registration for online mandated training works differently than the process for other NJSBA training programs. School business administrators should review the full instructions before starting the registration process. School Business Administrators will need to first log in to the NJSBA website before beginning registration.
Once board members are registered, they will receive a confirmation email, which will provide a link to the new system. This new system will bring them to their personal Canvas dashboard. The member should click on the course, read through the welcome page, and then click “start course” to begin the class.
