As part of its board leadership training series, the NJSBA is offering three regional training programs on Saturday, Feb. 8, with a focus on equity.
The program will assist board leaders in moving their boards forward to develop a shared vision for equity in their districts, understanding the critical role the board plays in this process, and how to work collaboratively with their district leaders and communities in eliminating barriers to ensure all students succeed.
The training will feature district leaders who will share how they have successfully moved their districts forward by eliminating institutional barriers to equitable opportunities for all students.
The program is geared toward school board presidents and vice presidents, but is open to any board member interested in building their leadership skills.
Program Information The programs will take place on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 9 a.m to 12 noon (registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.) at three regional locations, and costs $50 per person. A light breakfast will be provided.
Ask your school business administrator to register you for the program at the location most convenient for you.
