Please be advised that, effective January 1, 2019, the Office of Controversies and Disputes will begin distributing Commissioner of Education decisions to parties via email.
All attorneys representing petitioners or respondents before the Department of Education who wish to receive decisions on their case via email should ensure that they include an email address on all correspondence with the Office of Controversies and Disputes.
Providing an email address is not mandatory, but will ensure a more timely delivery of the Commissioner’s decision. If no email address is provided, decisions will be sent via regular mail.
