NJSBA has announced its summer publication and office schedule.
Newsletter Schedule School Board Notes begins its summer publication schedule with a special online issue today on the approval of the state budget and the superintendent salary cap repeal.
Online editions of School Board Notes will be posted on July 9, July 23, August 6 and August 20. Weekly publication resumes in September. The next print editions of School Board Notes will be July 22 and August 26.
In the case of important breaking news, School Board Notes will publish a special online edition as needed.
Office Schedule During the months of July and August, NJSBA follows a four-day compressed work week for its staff. The total number of hours worked remains unchanged, as employees will work extended hours Monday through Thursday. As in previous years and in keeping with our sustainability initiatives, the NJSBA headquarters office will be closed on Fridays, which will help reduce energy usage.
The compressed work week begins this week. The Association will return to a regular five-day schedule after Labor Day.
While the office will not be open on Fridays during July and August, any previously scheduled off-site meetings or programs involving NJSBA staff will still take place. Staff will respond to all email and voicemail messages.
