The New Jersey School Boards Association, in cooperation with Dell, is offering a three-part Summer Leadership Series in July and August. Local school board leaders can learn about the role leadership plays in the digital transformation of schools, including the role of leadership in the Future Ready Schools – New Jersey certification program.
Training at the Summer Leadership series will be presented by Jeremiah Okal-Frink, PhD, education strategist with Dell, and facilitated by NJSBA’s field service representatives.
“Our Summer Leadership Series will provide school board leaders with training and information to help make their schools ‘future ready,’” said Dr. Lawrence S. Feinsod, NJSBA executive director. “School districts across New Jersey have responded enthusiastically to Future Ready Schools–New Jersey, a voluntary program that enables them to advance digital learning in their curriculum and prepare their students for the future.”
Future Ready Schools–NJ is a collaborative effort involving NJSBA, the New Jersey Department of Education and the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
On June 14, Howell Township Public Schools shared their Future Ready–NJ journey.
