Facebook Live Event Cybersecurity: Best Practices and Free Resources for K-12 Schools
10 a.m. Thursday, June 10
Considering that businesses, the education sector and other essential industries throughout the nation remain the targets of cyberattacks, it is essential for New Jersey public school districts to continue to assess their vulnerability and reinforce their data systems to counter any disruptions.
This Facebook Live session will provide K-12 school officials with vital information and free resources regarding cybersecurity best practices. These tools will ensure that school computer data and networks will remain resilient to ransomware, distributed denial of service, malware, phishing, credential compromise, and unauthorized access.
Join experts in the field to learn more about this pressing issue:
- Michael Geraghty, New Jersey’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and director of the N.J. Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC).
- Michael Dean, manager of IT/network for the Upper Freehold Regional School District.
