In testimony before the Senate Education Committee on June 8, New Jersey Education Commissioner Lamont Repollet said that hundreds of districts have not completed applications for federal CARES Act ESSER funds.

Districts have already been told how much they will receive according to a formula based on the number of Title I students in the district, Repollet said. But they must apply for the money by June 19 to receive it. For information on how to apply for the funds, go here.
