To help school boards analyze and develop salary guides that meet the districts’ staffing and compensation goals, NJSBA is offering Analyzing and Constructing Salary Guides on Friday, March 27.
Analyzing and Constructing Salary Guides demystifies the salary guide development process by breaking it down to the basic concepts through hands-on activities. This program will take attendees through a step-by-step analysis of salary guide construction. Learn how to recognize and address salary guide aberrations, and strategies to effectively negotiate guide changes.
The program will be offered from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at NJSBA Headquarters, 413 W. State St., Trenton, NJ 08618. Registration and continental breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m.
The training is geared to the entire bargaining team, including labor attorneys and the business administrator. This hands-on program will help participants understand how a well-constructed salary guide is critical to help school boards operate efficiently within current financial constraints.
