The National School Boards Association (NSBA)’s annual conference, which will be held virtually this year, is just a little more than two weeks away.

The conference, to be held April 8-10, will provide participants with an interactive experience and includes educational programming, keynote addresses and networking opportunities.

The keynote speakers will include Soledad O’Brien, an award-winning journalist, author and philanthropist; Leslie Odom, Jr., a Tony and Grammy award-winning actor and musician; and Shawn Achor, a psychology researcher, former Harvard professor, and the best-selling author of The Happiness Advantage.

There will be 64 concurrent training sessions across the three-day event, as well as the general session keynotes, special council events, and networking opportunities.

The training sessions cover nine tracks or content areas. The tracks include advocacy; equity and diversity; governance and executive leadership; innovation in district management; personal development; school board/superintendent relationships; safe and supportive schools; student achievement, assessment and accountability; and technology and digital learning solutions.
