While women comprise more than 70% of New Jersey’s education workforce, the number of women in leadership positions is below that figure. In one Morris County school district, Mendham Borough, women make up most of the leadership team. For Women’s History Month, the women of the Mendham Borough leadership team joined NJSBA’s Ray Pinney to discuss women’s leadership in education.

Interviewed for this Education Matters video are Dr. Mitzi N. Morillo, superintendent; Beth Cocuzza, president, Mendham Borough Board of Education; Felicia Kicinski, school business administrator/board secretary; Aimee Toth, principal, Mountain View Middle School and Mary Joy Falcone, technology coordinator.
