The National School Boards Association (NSBA) invites school board members in New Jersey to join their colleagues from across the country to participate in its online Advocacy Institute from June 8 through June 10.
Results from a national poll on public schools will be released as part of the event, and the NSBA will explore key policy issues, provide advocacy training and insights from renowned national figures.
“I attend the NSBA Advocacy Institute every year, and it is always a great way to connect with state Congressional representatives while learning more about the national issues that affect education,” said Dr. Lawrence S. Feinsod, NJSBA executive director. “Particularly this year, when the Advocacy Institute will be online and therefore easier to attend, board members should take advantage of a chance to understand the political climate that is influencing the educational decisions being made in Washington, D.C.”
