- CARES Act Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Funds: Allocations and Application The N.J. Department of Education releases information on federal ESSER funds available to each school district and the grant application process. The application deadline is June 19. Posted May 12.
- COVID-19: Graduation Ceremonies The N.J. Department of Education offers guidance on virtual graduation ceremonies; the State Director of Emergency Management cautions that congregating in one place to conduct a drive-by celebration violates current restrictions, and he provides further clarification on the matter. - The Maryland Recovery Plan for Education As New Jersey maps out a process to reopen schools, the education community may find Maryland’s detailed strategy to be informative. Posted May 8.
