Gov. Phil Murphy proclaimed the week of May 12-18 as Special Education Week in New Jersey to recognize the achievements of students and those who support them.

On Friday, May 17, the NJSBA, along with ASAH, a non-profit serving private special education schools, celebrated Special Education Week with the presentation of the Innovations in Special Education awards.

At the ceremony, a representative from the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) presented the proclamation on behalf of Gov. Murphy.
