I-STEAM and Sustainability Lessons with John Henry, Wednesday, May 27 at 10 a.m. Join us for the next Facebook Live Event with John Henry and Andrew Conte to discuss renewable energy and conservation through ACES plus for school districts. Topics will focus on how to get your school started with ACES Plus, renewable energy assessments you can do at home, and other ways to reduce energy costs.
Challenges and Solutions for Internet Connectivity and Virtual Distance Learning, Thursday, May 28 at 1 p.m. Join Vince LaForgia, founder and CEO of E-Rate Consulting, and Grace Ting, state engagement director of the national non-profit EducationSuperHighway, for a discussion on the internet connectivity challenges districts are facing during the COVID-19 health crisis as well as solutions to those challenges. We will also look ahead to fall, as many districts are moving towards incorporating a permanent distance learning format. Finally, we will go over the federal CARES stimulus package and E-Rate funding that may still be available.
Wellness Series with Alisha DeLorenzo, Friday, May 29 at 1 p.m. The current experience of COVID-19 has introduced stress to our bodies, minds and emotions in unprecedented ways. Without even knowing it, we hold this stress deep in our bodies. Join us on Friday for the opportunity to move any dis-ease out of our systems through the practices of breathing, movement and mindfulness.
