The National School Boards Association (NSBA) Annual Conference & Exposition brings together education leaders throughout the nation to learn about best governance practices, gain insight into child development and learn about new programs and technology that can enrich student learning. NSBA’s annual conference enables school board members to receive training necessary to address the instructional needs of students and improve the efficiency of district operations.

The Annual Conference will take place March 30-April 1 in Philadelphia, just a short distance away. Under state regulation, N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-5.9 (page 63), school districts must receive approval from the Executive County Superintendent for them to cover the cost of attendance at an out-of-state event when total expenditures exceed $5,000 or if more than five people from the same district plan to attend.
