The New Jersey Association of School Administrators (NJASA) has selected three regional 2019 Superintendents of the Year. They are: Region I winner Dr. Michael LaSusa, chief education officer, School District of the Chathams; Region II winner Dr. Michael Salvatore, chief education officer, Long Branch Public Schools; and Region III winner Dr. Carol Birnbohm, chief education officer, Lenape Regional High School District.
The NJSBA’s Ray Pinney spoke to all three about the award and the key to their success in the interviews below.
Superintendent of the Year from Region 1 – Michael LaSusa
