The fall issue of View from the Edge, the quarterly magazine from NJEdge, recently featured the new strategic partnership and shared services agreement between the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA) and NJEdge.
“The demand for new technology in public education is growing, but the financial resources that school districts need to acquire that technology have not kept pace. That makes a shared-service arrangement like the NJEdge-NJSBA partnership especially relevant today,” said Dr. Lawrence S. Feinsod, executive director of the NJSBA.
“For local school districts, our partnership will result in economies of scale by combining, or aggregating, the buying power of the entire pre-K-through-20 education continuum to deliver the technology our students need to succeed. Significantly, the NJEdge-NJSBA partnership will also enable school districts to obtain cybersecurity services necessary to protect their data and access to communications services,” Feinsod said.
