The LEE Group met Sept. 26 at NJSBA headquarters to discuss topics of importance to the state’s public schools.
The name “LEE” stands for “leadership for excellence in education.”
The organization is made up of representatives from the state’s major educational organizations: the New Jersey Association of School Administrators; the New Jersey Association of School Business Officials; the New Jersey Education Association; the New Jersey State Parent-Teachers Association; the New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association, and the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA).
The NJSBA is this year’s host for the LEE organization.
“The LEE Group provides an excellent opportunity for all the major education associations to interact and exchange concerns and opinions,” said NJSBA Executive Director Dr. Lawrence S. Feinsod. He represented NJSBA at the meeting along with NJSBA President Mike McClure.
The group heard a presentation on the vital importance of obtaining an accurate count for the U.S. Census.
