NJSBA’s Virtual Workshop 2020 is right around the corner (Oct. 20 – 22). From best practices and strategies designed to overcome the challenges of delivering education in a pandemic, to governing school districts during the health emergency, the conference program is packed with information—and inspiration—to help districts prepare for what comes next.
Agenda The Virtual Workshop will offer more than 100 sessions offering Board Member Academy credit. There are also sessions offering Qualified Purchasing Agent credit and Certified Educational Facilities Manager credit. Review the agenda now.
Keynote Presentations Each morning at 9 a.m., the conference will kick off with a student performance and keynote presentation. Focus on Students NJSBA’s Virtual Workshop 2020 will celebrate the students in New Jersey’s districts. In addition to student performances each morning, each night of the conference will feature a different program highlighting student talents and creativity. County Roundtable Discussions During NJSBA’s Virtual Workshop, the county school boards associations will be hosting six interactive sessions, in the CDI Lounge, dealing with issues that all districts and boards of education are confronting during this pandemic. NJSBA’s director of member engagement and county activities coordinators will moderate the conversations with experts in the field and also encourage attendees to share their thoughts, experiences, and questions. 365 Days of Conference Access for the Entire Team NJSBA’s Virtual Workshop sessions will be available to watch on-demand for a full year. Registrants may also access the virtual exhibit floor and all of the conference resources. Think of it as a full catalog of more than 100 hours of on demand training for the entire team.
Registration NJSBA is offering a special group rate of $900 for up to 25 team members. That’s only $36 per person! The individual member rate is $199 per person. School business administrators must handle registration for their districts. Review the registration instructions before starting.
