The New Jersey School Boards Association Workshop is an ideal opportunity for school leaders to refresh their knowledge about vital topics in education and learn valuable strategies for improving the quality and efficiency of their local district.
The Workshop offers a wide variety of training opportunities starting Monday, Oct. 22 through Thursday, Oct. 25. Monday will include a special Leadership Training Track, geared toward school board presidents and vice presidents, and any board member interested in building their leadership skills.
Additionally, Monday will include a special presentation of Governance I: New Board Member Orientation (separate registration required by school business administrator), and training on school law, labor relations, student achievement, sustainability and more. Review the full Monday training line-up on the Workshop 2018 online schedule.
New to Workshop 2018: County Chat Room Featuring “EdCamp” Sessions An EdCamp is participant-driven professional development, and at Workshop the sessions will feature board member-to-board member education and discussion sessions.
