Michael Vrancik, NJSBA’s director of governmental relations, retired effective Sept. 1. Vrancik joined the Association as a director in January 2006, after working for agencies including the New Jersey Treasury Department, the governor’s office, and the Casino Reinvestment Authority. He had also served as an assistant director in NJSBA’s Governmental Relations Department in the 1990s.

“We are grateful for Mike’s many years of service to NJSBA,” said Dr. Lawrence S. Feinsod. “The Association benefited from his dedication and his wisdom as well as his encyclopedic knowledge of the state budget and school funding formula, and New Jersey’s political landscape. We wish him health and happiness in the years ahead.”
