Workshop 2018 is quickly approaching. The conference, which is the largest professional development event for school leaders in New Jersey, will run from Monday, Oct. 22 through Thursday, Oct. 25 at the Atlantic City Convention Center.

Housing Deadline A block of rooms has been secured at a number of hotels in Atlantic City. Please review the housing information on the Workshop website. Housing must be handled by the school business administrator. The last day to pay for and to make reservations under the Workshop 2018 block is Friday, Sept. 21.

About Workshop The largest training conference for school leaders in New Jersey, Workshop 2018 will offer more than 250 training sessions. In addition to opportunities for board members to earn NJSBA Board Member Academy credits, NJSBA has been authorized to issue Qualified Purchasing Agent (QPA) credits for school business administrators; professional development credits for Certified Educational Facilities Managers (CEFM); and sustainability credits toward Sustainable Jersey for Schools certification. Workshop 2018 will also offer expanded training for school technology professionals, as part of NJSBA’s commitment to helping schools reach their technology goals.

Expanded Group Rate The group rate now includes up to 20 team members for only $1,600. Workshop 2018 will have something for every member of the district team, including school board members; business administrators; superintendents; principals; charter school trustees and lead persons; school technology professionals; school facilities managers; curriculum directors; teachers and more. Team members can stay one day or all four days. The individual member rate is $300 per person.
