
Tammeisha (Tammy) D. Smith
Vice President for Finance
Tammeisha D. Smith was re-elected to a second two-year term as vice president for finance of the New Jersey School Boards Association during the organization’s semi-annual Delegate Assembly on May 15, 2021.
She has been a member of the Knowlton Township School Board for 10 years, including service as its president for seven years and vice president for one year. She has been a member of the NJSBA Legislative and Finance Committees, Vice President for the Warren County School Boards Association and earned the designations of Certified Board Member in 2018, Master Board Member in April 2020 and Certified Board Leader in April 2021.
Smith is a Governor’s Appointee to the N.J. Department of Health – Office on Minority and Multicultural Health, sits on the Board of Trustees of Luke’s University Health Network, the Saint Michael’s Medical Center Community Advisory Board, and the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) N.J. Leadership Council.
She currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Dunbar Center, a healthcare facility in Newark, and she has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), Trinity College & University.
