The Pittsgrove Township Board of Education is seeking a visionary and experienced leader to serve as the next Superintendent of Schools. The successful candidate will be a collaborative, forward-thinking, and innovative educator dedicated to fostering academic excellence, operational efficiency, and positive community relations.
The Pittsgrove Township School District serves approximately 1,600 students across five schools and is committed to providing a high-quality, student-centered education. With a focus on academic achievement, character development, and community involvement, the district seeks to prepare all students for success in a rapidly changing world.
Leadership Expectations:

- Engage and collaborate with the Board of Education, parents, staff, and the broader community.
- Lead with integrity, transparency, and accountability.
Qualifications:
- New Jersey School Administrator Certificate or eligibility required
- Demonstrated experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, building level administrator, or other central office leadership preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of previous successful teaching experience is preferred.
- A strong record of improving student achievement and promoting a positive district culture.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and educational best practices.
- A commitment to fiscal responsibility and strategic financial planning.
Compensation:
- Salary will be commensurate with education and experience, in accordance with NJ State
