The Bridgeton Board of Education seeks an exceptional educational leader with demonstrated success in student achievement, engaging parents and community stakeholders. An educational leader committed to providing an inclusive learning environment for all students to achieve their maximum potential to learn. The district is culturally and economically diverse, serving approximately 6,000 talented students from Pre-K to grade 12, with 36 dedicated administrators, and over 1,000 dedicated staff, spread over 9 buildings supported by a budget of over $132 million.
Qualifications
- NJ School Administrator Certification or Certificate of Eligibility is required
- Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or Central Office experience is preferred
- Experience in a K-12 district is required
The successful candidate will be a proven educational leader with experience and the ability to meet the needs of all students in our proud diverse and multi-cultural communities.
The leader will possess:
- The ability to successfully oversee the facilities of Bridgeton Public School District’s nine (9) buildings
- Experience in financial management with solid budget acumen in operating over a million-dollar budget
- The ability to unify diverse and multi-cultural communities
- Extraordinary skills in motivating, inspiring, and building collaboration among all stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills, with a commitment to transparency and developing relationships and partnerships with the staff and the community
- A collaborative approach that supports each child’s intellectual learning capabilities
- Demonstrated leadership and achievement in curriculum development and the use of technology in instruction and administration
- A proven track record of leveraging resources and opportunities for student and faculty success
- An enthusiasm for working in close partnership with the Board of Education
Salary commensurate with education and qualifications; subject to NJ State regulations.
