The New Milford Board of Education is in search of a visionary educational leader to be our next Superintendent of Schools. We support the academic and success of more than 1,750 PreK-12 students in grades, across 4 schools, with an operating budget of $50+ million. We are resolute in pursuing the development of the whole child by providing a comprehensive range of experiences essential to building capacity for independent and responsible living.

We are looking for a strong communicator who employs exceptional interpersonal skills to engage our community in a productive and fruitful partnership for the benefit of all.

• NJ School Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility required
• 3 years experience as a superintendent, assistant superintendent or central office administrator preferred
• Experience in a K-12 district required
• Experience as a building principal preferred
• K-12 classroom teaching experience preferred

Salary is competitive with experience and State of New Jersey guidelines.
