Dell, an ELFNJ corporate contributor, offered the first of four training sessions to school board members, superintendents, and others included in the NJSBA census on Nov. 23. The session, titled “Continuity of Learning Beyond 2020,” was presented by Jeremiah Okal-Frink, Ph.D., a senior education strategist with Dell.

Dell has developed a team of education strategists as an additional value to the field. They provide support in decision-making and planning specific to teaching, learning and organizational change through connection to resources and other districts, co-planning, process facilitation, thought leadership, and ongoing consultation.

Continuity of Learning Beyond 2020 focused on asking the right questions, exploring tentative models and drafting goals in six critical areas to ensure students get the education they need to succeed as leaders and boards begin planning for ensuring learning and preparing our students through the rest of 2020 and beyond.

The future training sessions will explore topics of distance learning, equity, and digital wellness. Dates have yet to be determined but will be posted on the ELFNJ website as well as the NJSBA Training webpage.
