This spring, NJSBA’s county school boards association meetings will continue to be hybrid — with board members able to attend in-person and virtually.

The meetings will include the content-rich programming that are a hallmark of county school boards associations.

Members will hear updates from executive county superintendents and NJSBA staff members, speak with state legislators, and share ideas and best practices with each other.

Among the topics that will be discussed at meetings throughout the spring:

  • managing divisive board of education meetings.
  • diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • best practices in cybersecurity.
  • pandemic learning loss.
  • social emotional health.

Board members are welcome to attend meetings in any county — not just their home county.

The county association meeting schedule can be found on the NJSBA website under the “Upcoming Meetings” tab to see the full schedule at once.

New Jersey’s 21 county school boards associations offer training, information and forums to explore the issues facing public school districts.
