The New Jersey Department of Education recently announced the launch of a dedicated space on its website that will host student artwork with the theme of Hope, Healing and Resilience through the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This space will serve as a reminder that students used their talent and creativity in the wake of the pandemic and expressed positive messages of hope, healing, resilience and perseverance through visual art.

The NJDOE, in collaboration with Arts Ed NJ and the Art Educators of New Jersey, wishes to thank all of the students who submitted their individual expressions of hope, healing and resilience through the COVID-19 pandemic. Students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade statewide submitted more than 1,400 works of art.

The NJDOE looks forward to digitally showcasing all artwork received from students throughout the state. Email ArtHeals@doe.nj.gov with questions or comments.
